Unlike most modern craft paths, no circle is cast in order to perform works of magic, ritual, meditation etc.

Imagine, centuries ago, a villager going to see the local Wise Woman or Cunning Man for help, and then having to wait around while tools were cleansed, watchtowers called, and circles sealed.

Rather than concentrating on the paraphernalia, a very simple process is performed.  The first few times you do this, it may take a while however, in time, the process will become virtually instantaneous.

You may wish to use a candle or, better still, a crystal-ball, for visual aide.
Focus on the candle/crystal-ball and see it as a small ball of light/energy.  With each breath in, pull this light into your body and settle it just at the base of your sternum (breastbone).  Feel it pulse with your heartbeat and, with each beat (or breath, whichever you prefer), expand this ball of light/energy until it completely surrounds you, making sure you keep the spherical shape.  This is your space.  You can move around and it will go wherever you go (no worrying about 'breaking the boundaries of a circle').

There are two ways of dispersing this space, you can either perform the creation in reverse, by shrinking the sphere until it disappears, or rapidly expand it until it 'explodes' into the air.
